Grandma and Papa show me Andrews

Grandma and I picked Papa up at the Branch Avenue Metro Station on Friday.  Then we went to Andrews for lunch.  I've been to Patuxent Naval Air Station lots of times with Grandma and Papa, but this is the first time I remember going to Andrews with them.

Look at this cool bubble gum machine.  Papa let me get some gum and it was fun to watch it go all through the machine.  There were flashing lights and sounds.  It was so much fun!
We ate lunch at the food court.  I had Taco Bell and Grandma and Papa had Robin Hood (kind of like Subway).  Then we went shopping in the Exchange.

I got some new church shoes.  Papa tried on some shoes, but they didn't have the right size.  He was dizzy and I volunteered to tie his shoe.  I love tying shoes now.

We went in the commissary too.  It was so crowded, there were no carts and the line to checkout was so long, we decide not to shop.  We went to the Home and Garden store too.  I wanted Papa to buy me a Sprite, but would you believe they didn't have any.

Grandma and Papa showed me where they used to live.  Their old house was torn down, but Papa says my mom and Aunt Sarah used to play in these trees.  That is the medical center in the background.  They used to live right across the street from the hospital.
Do you know what I am pointing at?  Did you know the President of the United States has a special airplane to fly in? It is kept at Andrews and the hanger is in the background.  We couldn't see it very well here, so we went to another area to see it.

This view is better.  It is a very interesting building.

Grandma loves taking pictures of me.
I wanted to play on the playground, but we had to leave.  Grandma said we can come back another day and bring Abby and have a picnic!  It will be so fun!!!!

My Luna Moth Adventure With Mommy!

While mommy and I were taking a walk today we found this neat Luna Moth in the driveway. We decided to move it off the driveway so it wouldn't get run over by a car. When we scooped it up with a stick it spread its wings and I loved its spots! I also loved its big fuzzy pink legs and fuzzy yellow antennae. We found a good home for the moth and I decided to name it Tuna the Luna Moth.

My Frog Egg Adventure with Daddy!

Daddy took me to Myrtle Point Park and we went walking around on the trails there. We pretended to be adventures exploring the woods. Along the way we found this big puddle and inside were a bunch of frog eggs, it was so cool. I even got to hold them. Just look how neat they are, what could be better than holding frog eggs?

The Secret Of The Napkins

The other day Grandma Mitchell showed me the secret of the napkins. I needed a napkin, but there weren't anymore, so I asked Grandma if she could get me some. She told me that I was old enough now to learn the secret of the napkins. She showed me where she kept the napkins (after we made sure Abby wasn't in the room, because they are kept in a small cabinet that Abby would have no trouble getting into). Now, if I ever need a napkin and there aren't any I know where to get more. I just have to make sure Abby doesn't see me, because it's a secret, a big girl secret. Shhhhh!
