School Supplies

Can you believe it is almost time for Back to School.  Grandma took me shopping for school supplies.  We go through the list and when we think we have everything, Grandma reads the list and I say, "Check" if the item is in the cart.  Check out my new lunchbox.  My mommy will be filling this with some yummy lunches for me this year. And look at this princess supply box - it even has a key.  I've decided to leave the key at home. Here I am with all of my supplies.  Can you believe all the wonderful things?  Abby got a backpack filled with goodies for her trip to Hawaii.  She is going to meet her Grandpa Aina. Look how big our backpacks are.  I can't wait to see who my teacher is this year.  I know second grade is going to be fun!

Lunch and a Movie

Today Mommy and Grandma took us to Subway for lunch.  We enjoyed our yummy sandwiches, apple slices and juice.  Look at the fun bags we got with our kid meals.  That is Merida from the new movie Brave on the bags.  We were so excited because we were also going to see Brave.  Abby and I each got a kid pack at the movie too.  We each got popcorn, fruit snacks, and an Icee.  The movie was good.  Mommy and Grandma said we were both so good that we can do this again sometime.  I wonder what other good movies are going to be at the theater this summer? Grandma loves to spoil us! Summer is fun!

Cousins

Grandma Mitchell asked Aunt Sarah for a new picture of the three of us girls for her Grandkids picture frame.  Aunt Sarah had to work really hard and finally had to use photoshop to get all three of us smiling.  We all wore our Lorax shirts because Grandma loves Dr. Suess.  Grandma had a big Pampered Chef party and Mommy and Aunt Sarah helped sort out all the orders. Abby, Ellie, and I supervised.  I was trying to explain one of my games to Abby.  Grandma tried to get pictures of us, but it just wasn't a great photo day.  I do like this funny face picture she took of us!  I love these little cousins of mine.  It is so fun to hold Ellie.  She smiles a lot!  She is starting to get drooly too.

Easter Weekend

Daddy and Uncle Tony hid eggs for an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Papa's house on Saturday.  Abby and I had fun looking for the eggs.  Our Dads were pretty good at hiding the eggs.  Then Mommy and Aunt Sarah helped us color eggs. I love my Mommy!   Abby and I had lots of fun coloring the eggs.  Ellie was too little to join in the egg coloring, so she just hung out in her swing.  I love my little cousin, Ellie! Uncle Tony is lots of fun too!  After church Grandma wanted to take pictures of us.  Grandma's cuties!  Ellie is so huggable. Happy Easter from my family!

Saturday

This morning, Grandma and Papa picked me up and we went shopping.  We went to the Navy Exchange and Papa bought me some new earrings.  We ate at the food court.  I love eating there! Grandma and I had fried rice and orange chicken. Papa also got me some noodles and an egg roll.  Then I picked out some clothes for Ellie and matching Hello Kitty shirts for Abby and me.  Then we headed to the commissary.  I love to help shop! We stopped at a shop called Hug Bug and Grandma bought a cute swing for Ellie. Then we headed to Grandma and Papa's house.  Abby and I had lots of fun playing.  I got to hold Ellie.  She is so cute and is growing.  Can you believe that she weighs more than 12 lbs now?  After dinner, Abby and I settled in to watch some video shorts and Papa was working on genealogy stuff.  He loves doing that.  Since he had knee surgery last week, he can't work in the yard or chase us outside, so we decided to stay in with him.  Then Daddy came to pick

Cheese Balls!

Papa stopped by with a surprise for me.  He knows I love cheese balls! Now if I can just get this open.

Ellie Comes Home

We were so excited to hear that my cousin, Ellie, was coming home from the hospital.  She had to have heart surgery.  Mommy and Grandma decorated the house.  Papa took Abby and me on a walk.  We found new walking sticks too.  Abby and I looked at one of our favorite books, Grandma's Alice in Wonderland Pop Up book.  They're here! They're here! We were so happy to have Ellie, Aunt Sarah, and Uncle Tony home.  They had been at the hospital for two weeks. We ate some cupcakes.  Ellie is checking out Grandma taking pictures.    Abby and I got to hold her.  She's a little wiggly. I love being the big cousin.  I love my little cousins, Abby and Ellie.

Penguin Habitats

For school, I had to make a penguin project.  I chose to make a diorama of a penguin habitat Mommy helped me design the habitat.  I knew everything I wanted to have in the habitat.  I made fish and squid for their food.  I also made a leopard seal.  I used cotton balls for the ice and snow.  I used some of my new clay that I got at Christmas to make the animals and the water. I told Papa what words I needed and he let me type my labels on his computer.  He helped me with some of the spelling, but I did the typing all by myself!  I like my penguin habitat.  Projects are fun!

Movie Time

Saturday mommy and daddy took me and J.T. to the movies to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D. J.T. is such a good cousin to tag along.  It was so fun!  Before the movie started there was a short film from the movie Tangled about when Rapunzel and Flynn get married, it was really funny, I laughed a lot.  I love spending time with my mommy and daddy (and my many cousins).  I am a very lucky girl to have so many people who love me!

Punkin Chunkin and Other Outside Fun!

What a fun day I had today! I went to a Primary Meet Your Teacher Activity at church and we got to wear pajamas. Then Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at Grandma and Papa Mitchell's house.  Uncle Tony and I did some Punkin Chunkin Actually, I helped him and told him which way to chunk the punkin Football style Where did it go Uncle Tony? Grandma was playing with me for awhile too. I am pretending to be a cat sleeping on the swing. I tried so hard not to smile. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to smile! Now for some silly stretches Hey Grandma look at me! What a funny face. After this shot, I got tired of being a cat, we went up to the deck and I was a puppy, but Grandma's camera battery died, so we didn't get any pictures of that. Then we headed out to do some shopping.  We went to Lowe's and looked at all kinds of things.  There are lots of changes going on at Grandma and Papa's house.  They are finishing th
