While mommy and I were taking a walk today we found this neat Luna Moth in the driveway.
We decided to move it off the driveway so it wouldn't get run over by a car.
When we scooped it up with a stick it spread its wings and I loved its spots!
I also loved its big fuzzy pink legs and fuzzy yellow antennae.
We found a good home for the moth and I decided to name it Tuna the Luna Moth.

Wow, that is neat that you were able to save the luna moth from getting run over. Isn't it fun to see new kinds of bugs, insects, and animals
ReplyDeleteYou are a smart girl to go out and learn about nature! Have you seen the books called "Eyewitness"? They have lots of great pictures and they explain everything in a fun way. Another kind of book you might like are the Audubon Field Guides that help you identify and name all the plants and animals around you. My kids and I have used them a lot, especially the bird one and the flower one. ;-) See you in Primary!
