A Busy Day

Saturday was a very busy day.  Grandma and Papa picked me up to go shopping at the Navy Base.  First Papa had to get a haircut, so Grandma and I went shopping at the NEX.  I had to stop and let Grandma take my picture by the Frankenstein M&M.

After we finished shopping at the Exchange, we headed to the commissary.  Grandma let me ride in one of the space shuttle shopping carts.  Since I am learning to read, I was in charge of the grocery list and crossed off items as Grandma put them in the cart.  I even added a couple of items that she put in the cart, but didn't have on her list.  I just love helping out.

Next we headed to Grandma and Papa's house.  I picked out these cute jack-o-lantern cookies for Abby and me.

I started eating mine right away.

Abby wanted to check hers out before she started eating it.

Then I read a book to Mommy and Abby while Grandma and Papa put the groceries away.  I thought they would never finish.  I was so excited because Mommy and Grandma were taking us to the Pumpkin Patch.  I'll post pictures from that later.

My Frog Egg Adventure with Daddy!

Daddy took me to Myrtle Point Park and we went walking around on the trails there. We pretended to be adventures exploring the woods. Along the way we found this big puddle and inside were a bunch of frog eggs, it was so cool. I even got to hold them. Just look how neat they are, what could be better than holding frog eggs?

My Luna Moth Adventure With Mommy!

While mommy and I were taking a walk today we found this neat Luna Moth in the driveway. We decided to move it off the driveway so it wouldn't get run over by a car. When we scooped it up with a stick it spread its wings and I loved its spots! I also loved its big fuzzy pink legs and fuzzy yellow antennae. We found a good home for the moth and I decided to name it Tuna the Luna Moth.

Cousins

Grandma Mitchell asked Aunt Sarah for a new picture of the three of us girls for her Grandkids picture frame.  Aunt Sarah had to work really hard and finally had to use photoshop to get all three of us smiling.  We all wore our Lorax shirts because Grandma loves Dr. Suess.  Grandma had a big Pampered Chef party and Mommy and Aunt Sarah helped sort out all the orders. Abby, Ellie, and I supervised.  I was trying to explain one of my games to Abby.  Grandma tried to get pictures of us, but it just wasn't a great photo day.  I do like this funny face picture she took of us!  I love these little cousins of mine.  It is so fun to hold Ellie.  She smiles a lot!  She is starting to get drooly too.
